How It Works

Laser etching is a permanent process that etches without contact and marks without the use of inks or dyes. Laser markings are sterile and highly resistant to acids, cleaning agents or bodily fluids. 


Laser marking provides long lasting product traceability. It is also the fastest method compared to traditional marking methods such as ink stamping, paint pen, chemical etching, pad printing, or mechanical engraving. The mark created by laser engraving is clean, precise, and computer controlled. This produces a mark that is accurate with precise repeatability and long lasting traceability.

Laser marking can be performed on a variety of materials like bare metals, coated or plated metals, anodized and non-anodized aluminum, stainless steel, ceramic, titanium, brass, copper, carbide, granite and most hard plastics. It can also mark on a variety of surfaces such as; round, uneven surfaces, and oddly shaped devices.
